How to Upgrade Cyrce's Circlet in World of Warcraft: The War Within

Patch 11.0.7 for World of Warcraft: The War Within is finally here, bringing new mounts, the new Siren Isle zone, and a new catch-up ring called Cyrce's Circlet.

Cyrce's Circlet is a customizable ring similar to the Onyx Annulet that we used in Dragonflight. Cyrce's Circlet is unlocked by completing the introductory questline to the Siren Isle.

This ring is given to players at item-level 619 and can be upgraded to item-level 639, the maximum item level for Season 1 of The War Within.

Unfortunately, players will be gatekept behind 6 weeks of quests. Every week after reset, a new quest for Cyrce's Circlet will release, allowing players to upgrade their ring, access more features on the Siren Isle, and eventually unlock flying on the Siren Isle.

Here's how to unlock Cyrce's Circlet, how to upgrade it with gems, and the rewards for each of the 6 weeks of quests.

Cyrce's Circlet is the reward for completing the introductory questline to the Siren Isle, called A Song of Secrets. This is an 11-quest chain that brings players from Dornogol to the Siren Isle. Players will then build the gem scanner that they'll use throughout the new zone, discover some ancient ruins, and loot the ring and their first gem from an ancient tomb.

Similar to other customizable catch-up pieces in previous expansions, Cyrce's Circlet has 3 sockets. There are a couple new features coming with Cyrce's Circlet: Players will be able to socket and unsocket gems as many times as they want, and Cyrce's Circlet is the first ring that will physically show on your character.

Collecting the 12 Citrines on the Siren Isle

The three sockets on Cyrce's Circlet correspond to three kinds of Citrines found on the Siren Isle. The yellow socket holds a Thunder Citrine, the blue socket holds a Sea Citrine, and the pink Socket holds a Wind Citrine.

There are 12 total Citrine gems players can find in the Siren Isle, four of each kind. Collecting all 12 Citrines gives players the achievement A Choir of Citrines.

Collecting all 12 Citrines is a requirement for the Siren Isle meta-achievement "Isle Remember You," that rewards players with the new Breaker's Song mount.

"Isle Remember You" is a criterion for The War Within's meta-achievement You Xal Not Pass which rewards players with the rare Shadow of Doubt mount. If you want to potentially get two rare mounts, you should plan to find all 12 Citrines that can be socketed into Cyrce's Circlet.

There are 12 Citrines players can find on the Siren Isle that all have unique abilities. Except for the few that come from completing quests, their whereabouts are still unknown. Their sources will be revealed as the first players track them down with the scanner.

More Siren Isle & Patch 11.0.7 Guides

Patch 11.0.7 releases on December 17th and brings more than the Siren Isle. Blizzard also added a new meta-achievement mount for Battle for Azeroth, Jani's Trashpile. This is one of the few mounts where you transform into the mount upon summoning.

Players can also farm out the meta-achievement for The War Within - You Xal Not Pass - rewarding players with the Shadow of Doubt mount.
