Monster Hunters Outlanders was just announced yesterday as a new fully featured game that will be free-to-play on mobile devices. The first trailer released yesterday and featured a vast open world teeming with classic monsters like Anjanath and Great Jagras.
Monster Hunter Outlanders will include open-world exploration throughout multiple biomes. These biomes will be accessed using a glider reminiscent of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
This upcoming mobile game features impressive graphics and content that can be done solo or in multiplayer. First looks at the game make it seem like Outlanders will be a more fully-fledged Monster Hunter experience compared to Monster Hunter: Now, the current mobile title.
Monster Hunter Outlanders doesn't have a release date yet but will be hosting multiple playtests over the coming months. The Monster Hunter Wilds beta had over 450.000 users on Steam in the short weeks it was open, and Monster Hunter fans that miss the beta should sign up for the Outlanders playtest!

Monster Hunter Outlanders will be an ambitious mobile game that promises a lot of the same features that full games do. TiMi Studio Group producer Dong Huang said in the press release, "Monster Hunter Outlanders not only offers players an authentic hunting experience, but it does it in a massive open world featuring the community and social systems players are looking for today."
Monster Hunter Outlanders will feature seamlessly connected biomes like fields, swamps, forests, and deserts with free roaming monsters that can all be accessed from an open world.
The game will also feature a crafting system similar to other Monster Hunter games. Players will be able to collect loot and upgrade and craft the traditional Monster Hunter weapons.
Monster Hunter Outlanders will also feature switchable characters. As players progress through the story, they'll meet unique characters that will not only become your allies. Players will be able to switch characters and play as their allies.
Also, Monster Hunter Outlanders will introduce new companions. Along with the beloved Palicoes, the first screenshots of Monster Hunter Outlanders hints that there will be additional companions players can have.
Monster Hunter Outlanders is shaping up to be an ambitious new game that both builds on the traditional Monster Hunter franchise and introduces some new elements that may remain exclusive to the mobile game. Sign up for the playtest on the official website to get a first look at the game!
