I think elementals are some of the coolest looking creatures in World of Warcraft, and since The War Within's launch, I made it my mission to get Beledar's Spawn.
This rare elite mob spawns only in Hallowfall, one of the underground regions in Khaz Algar. Every 3 hours server time, the giant crystal lodged in Hallowfall's ceiling turns purple, signaling that Beledar's Spawn has returned.

The sky in Hallowfall will remain purple for a full 30 minutes. Even if Beledar's Spawn is killed before the timer is up, the sky will stay purple. Beledar's Spawn has over 20 different spawn locations throughout Hallowfall, making the elite difficult to find alone.
Your best bet at killing Beledar's Spawn is to join a raid group through group finder. 15-30 minutes before Beledar's Spawn is set to come up, go to Group Finder and go to Premade Groups. Go to the Custom option and search for Beledar. Since there are hundreds of people every three hours trying to hunt Beledar, and only 40 people to a raid group, these spots fill up quickly! That's why I recommend looking for a custom PvE group for Beledar 15-30 minutes before the start of the hour.
After joining a raid group, it's important to fly to Hallowfall and stay attentive. The group leaders will probably ask people to spread out and cover all the spawn locations. Even with being in a raid group, there's a chance that Beledar will be tagged by a different group, and the mob will likely only be alive for 2-3 minutes after it spawns.
At the top of the hour, the crystal and sky in Hallowfall will turn purple, and players in your raid group will see if the mob spawns in their location. When a player sees the mob, they'll drop a pin on the map, so keep your map open and be ready to fly there as fast as possible. If you see a pin in General Chat, click on it to see the pin on your personal map.
In a perfect group, everyone will wait for as many people as possible to land in front of Beledar's Spawn before pulling the elite mob. But since many people in the zone will be from outside of your raid group, there's a high chance that Beledar's Spawn will be in combat by the time you get to him. It's good gamer etiquette to tag the mob once, both to get your chance at the mount and to increase its overall health, and then leave it alone so more people can tag it.
Beledar's Spawn has a chance to drop the rare mount, a blue ring called the Signet of Dark Horizons, and a number of other greens.
If you have multiple characters, you have multiple chances to get the mount per day. Beledar's Spawn has a daily lockout, meaning that your characters have one chance per day to kill the rare elite. You can use your alts to have additional chances at the mounts!
Unlike Tka'ktath, which requires a level 77 character or higher to spawn the quest item for Siesbarg, level 70 characters are able to kill Beledar's Spawn. So, it's worth taking all of your level 70 characters from the Dragon Isles to the new continent!
I have 3 alt characters that just hang out in Hallowfall until it's time for the mob to spawn, meaning I have 4 chances per day at getting the mount. Despite having 4 chances per day, I haven't gotten the mount yet. Every Beledar's Spawn kill, 3-5 people on the server get the mount, making it one of the rarest mounts that drops in The War Within.
