If you're new to video games, you probably don't know how many relaxing video games are out there now! Don't get me wrong, I love playing shooters like Fallout and Remnant. Combat-based games are a ton of fun in their own right. But lately, I've been incorporating cozy games into my evening routine as a way to relax and unwind after a long day. There is something so relaxing to me about managing my own farm, exploring a new world, and living my best work-free life through a video game.

Calico is a cat cafe management game! Fill your cafe with cute furniture and decorations to attract customers and fill the town with cats again! The graphics are adorable, and this is the perfect game for cat-lovers!
Stardew Valley is the OG farming simulation game. Leave your boring desk job to take over your grandpa's farm in Stardew Valley. Plant crops, fish, and explore the mine to make money. You can romance characters and start your own family! I think farming sims are so relaxing and addicting at the same time!
Lemon Cake is an adorable cooking sim. Rebuild your cafe and serve customers pastries and coffee. You can also raise and take care of plants and animals in your greenhouse!

Pokemon Legends: Arceus is unlike any other Pokemon game in the series. If you've never played a Pokemon game before, I can see how it could be overwhelming to jump into a huge franchise. BUT I highly encourage giving this one a chance. Explore an open world set in Feudal Japan, craft your own Pokeballs, and catch Pokemon at your own pace.
