In Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Treyarch brought back the classic round-based Zombies mode. There are two new maps (and a third coming by the end of 2024) where CoD players can enjoy round-based zombies, which of course includes new Easter Eggs. Here's everything you need to craft the Jet Gun in Black Ops 6 Zombies.
New Zombies Maps in Black Ops 6
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 comes with 2 new Zombies maps: Liberty Falls and Terminus. Liberty Falls is set in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia, where players are deployed to investigate a recent disturbance in the area.
Terminus is a sprawling prison stranded in the middle of the ocean. Players can activate traps surrounding the prison to keep zombies at bay as they delve deeper and deeper into the prison.
New and Returning Features in Black Ops 6 Zombies
For the first time ever, solo players will be able to save a match at any time and come back to it later! In order to save, players must be playing a Zombies match by themselves and must be full health. Players will only have one save slot, and attempting to start a new Zombies match will overwrite the previous save data.
This feature is perfect for Call of Duty players that want to experience the full main story of each Zombies match but may not be able to in one sitting. Black Ops 6 also autosaves at the beginning of each new round.
The Pack-a-Punch machine is returning in Black Ops 6, allowing players to upgrade their primary and melee weapon up to three times. Staying consistent with classic round-based zombies, there isn't a menu anymore in the Pack-a-Punch machine. Simply shove your weapon in there and go!
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies is also debuting a new third-person perspective option. For the first time in Zombies mode, players will be able to toggle in between first-person and third person. This option will help players navigate dangerous hallways and crawlspaces in the new maps.
Before Crafting the Jet Gun
Before players try to craft the Jet Gun or the Thrustodyne M23, they should have at least progressed this far into the round:
Players should have Pack-a-Punched their weapon at least once, around round 5 or round 7
Players should know how to train zombies, and kite small groups around the map at a time
Players should attempt to create the Jet Gun before wave 25, when Zombie spawn rates become much more difficult to handle
How to Craft the Jet Gun Wonder Weapon
To craft the Jet Gun, players will need to locate three different crafting components hidden around the map and return to the Jet Gun workbench. The three crafting components are:
The Water Pressure Gauge
The Handbrake
The Electrical Wires
The first component, the water pressure gauge, is arguably the hardest since it involves multiple steps in itself. Players must first find the Water Pump in front Lily's Flowerpot store. The store is located near section E4 on the map, and the water pump is sitting on outdoor shelving to the right of the front door.
After obtaining the Water Pump, players should find their way to section E7 and Fuller's Liberty Lanes, the bowling alley. There will be a small electrical box near the snack bar. Melee the box to remove the panel and insert the water pump. Turning the water pump will trigger a wave of zombies.
This step requires one player to hold the water pump for the designated amount of time. If you have a group to play with, it's important to have at least one person distracting zombies while another player turns the water pump. If playing solo, this is where the kiting skills come in handy.
Once the water pressure gauge is full, the spawning zombies will calm down and the Water Pressure Gauge will drop for the player.
Next, head to the graveyard to try and encounter the Groundskeeper Zombie. This unique zombie will be wearing a red shirt and blue overalls. If you find it's hard to spot the Groundskeeper among all the other zombies, finding him during a spider-based wave will make him easier to spot.
Upon defeating the Groundskeeper, he will drop a Toolshed Key. Make your way to D4 to the small wooden toolshed. Unlock it and you will find the Handbrake sitting on the table inside.
The final component, Electrical Wires, requires being on Wave 11. Upon reaching wave 11, the first Mangler will spawn, and this mob is needed to break into the Electronics Store located at H3. There are two ways players can use the Mangler mob.
Players can kite the Mangler to the Radio House Electronics store and try to have them aim their arm cannon towards the building to break the glass windows. Otherwise, players can aim at the Mangler Cannon and shoot it until it breaks and falls to the ground. Players can then pick up the Mangler Cannon and use it to break the windows themselves. Clear the piles of rubble on the floor until you find the Electrical Wires.
After collecting all three crafting components, players just have to make their way to the Motor Lodge that features a "Motel" sign. Head to the second floor of the motel and the bedroom that's right beneath the motel sign.
If this is your first time entering the motel, it will trigger extra waves of zombies. Once inside the room, just interact with the workbench to create the Jet Gun. Your new Jet Gun doesn't require any ammo, and recharges on its own. This weapon works like the Junk Jet in Fallout, sucking in anything in its path and using it for ammo.
