The Coldflame Tempest

The Coldflame Tempest is the World of Warcraft 20th Anniversary mount. This bright blue bird mount is available as long as the 20th Anniversary Celebration event is up - until early January. Players just need to participate in 8 easy anniversary events to complete the achievement A Cool Twenty Years and get the Coldflame Tempest.

  • I Have That One! - match 1 mount during the Mount Mania Event

  • Fashion Critic - cast 1 vote during the Fashion Frenzy Event

  • Pet Mischief - use a Pet Mirror to copy its appearance

  • Balloonist - ride a celebration balloon floating around Tanaris

  • Peanut Gallery - react to Lorewalker Cho's stories during the Story Time event

  • An Original - defeat one of the Vanilla world bosses

  • A Gatecrasher - defeat one of the Gatecrasher world bosses

  • Codex Editor: Ahn'Qiraj - complete the Codex of Chromie scenario

The hardest part is reacting to Lorewalker Cho's stories 50 times since you have to wait for his story time event to come around 6-7 times. Everything else can be completed within 30 minutes.

Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren

Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren is a tempest bird mount available on the Siren Isle. Players who want to collect this mount need to find the 5 ancient Runekeys on the island and then complete the ritual to summon Thrayir during a storm. After collecting the keys below, head to the Forgotten Vault during a storm and activate each pylon around Thrayir to bring him back to life.

  • Whirling Runekey - Drops from the rare Ksvir the Forgotten

  • Torrential Runekey - Rare drop from any mob on the island

  • Thunderous Runekey - Collect 5 Thunderous Fragments around the island

  • Cyclonic Runekey - Drops from the rare Zek'ul the Shipbreaker

  • Turbulent Runkey - Collect 3 Turbulent Fragments around the island.

The Prismatic Snapdragon

The Prismatic Snapdragon is another new mount on the Siren Isle. Players will need to complete 10 quests - one per day - to get this easy mount in World of Warcraft: The War Within.

To start the questline, talk to the Starving Snapdragon Runt at the Flotsam Shoal area of the island. Every day, he will offer you a new quest. You don't have to complete the quests consecutively, but there is no catch-up mechanic. You will only be able to complete one quest per day.

"A Loyal Friend" is an easy heartfelt questline where you feed the starving Snapdragon Runt for 10 days and then he joins you as a new mount!

Soweezi's Vintage Waveshredder

Soweezi's Vintage Waveshredder is an easy mount to get in the Siren Isle. Players just need to farm 10,000 Flame-Blessed Iron - the new currency used on the Siren Isle. Players can farm Flame-Blessed Iron by completing events in the Siren Isle including world events and excavations.

The Lunar Launcher

The Lunar Launcher is a new mount coming in the 2025 Lunar Festival event. This 2024 Lunar Festival will take place from February 3rd to February 17th, 2025. This in-game event is all about honoring your ancestors, and players can find and honor elders throughout Azeroth to earn Coins of Ancestry.

The Love Witch's Sweeper

The Love Witch's Sweeper is a new mount being added in the 11.0.7 patch that players won't see until the 2025 Love is in the Air event. This is an annual Valentine's Day themed event in February. Similar to queueing into the Headless Horseman event in October, players can queue into instances to defeat Apothecary Hummel, who has a chance to drop this broom mount.

The Soaring Meaderbee

The Soaring Meaderbee is an easy bee mount to farm in the Isle of Dorn. Players just need to defeat elite bee mobs outside of Cinderbrew Meadery and loot their Sizzling Cinderpollen. Collect 900 Sizzling Cinderpollen and purchase the Soaring Meaderbee from Cendvin outside of Cinderbrew Meadery.

Here are all of the mobs that drop Sizzling Cinderpollen: The Cinderbee Workers, Cinderbee Foragers, Cinderbee Buzzers, Cinderbee Drones, and Cinderbee Knights are all elite mobs that drop the Sizzling Cinderpollen, along with the Tempest Wolves, Rustcloud Runts, and Cyclonecrier Alpha wolves.

The Slatestone Ramolith

The Reins of the Slatestone Ramolith are obtained after completing the achievement Allied Races: Earthen, also unlocking the Earthen class. There are four criteria for this achievement and this mount:

  • The War Within campaign

  • Broken Tools questline

  • Mourning Rise questline

  • Merrix and Steelvein questline

The Earthen Ordinant's Ramolith

After unlocking the Earthen class, make an Earthen paladin and log in to your new character, and you'll automatically be granted the Earthen Ordinant's Ramolith mount. All mounts are account wide and you don't need to keep this character if you don't want to.

The Dauntless Imperial Lynx

The Dauntless Imperial Lynx is a stunning cat mount that players get by completing the weekly Lamplighter activities in Hallowfall. The mount has a chance to drop from the Lamplighter Supply Satchel obtained by completing the weekly Spreading the Light quest. You can get multiple satchels per week by completing all of the bigger fires in the Lamplighter area.

Is this an easy mount to farm? Yes and no. The weekly takes 15 minutes tops, which makes it an easy mount to farm. But the Dauntless Imperial Lynx has a low drop rate of 1%. I know people that have gotten the mount out of their third satchel. I know people who have opened over 200 satchels with no luck. But the farm is very easy, making this mount worth it.

The Swarmite Skyhunter

The Swarmite Skyhunter is an easy mount to farm in the War Within. Players just need to fly around the new continent Khaz Algar until they find all the glyphs. You can either use a Glyph guide or download the Rare Scanner add on since it notifies you when you're flying near a glyph.

Wick's Lead

Wick's Lead is a mole mount that drops off the last boss in Darkflame Cleft. Darkflame Cleft is included in the Mythic+ rotation for Season 2 of The War Within, so you will have plenty of opportunities to try and get this mount next season. This mole mount has a thick furry saddle piled high with candles, crystals, and mining tools.

This timewalking event will be a great time to farm the Timewarped Badges needed for all four mounts, and you could start saving up now during the Anniversary event if you wanted to!

The Broodling of Sinestra is a new Cataclysm timewalking mount sold for 5000 Timewarped badges.

The Copper-Maned Quilen is a new Mists of Pandaria mount sold for 5000 Timewarped badges.

The Nightfall Skyreaver is a new Warlords of Draenor mount sold for 5000 Timewarped badges.

The Ur'zul Fleshripper is a new Legion Timewalking mount sold for 5000 Timewarped badges. This mount is a red recolor of the very rare Shackled Ur'zul mount from Legion.

Finally, the Timely Buzzbee is a new mount coming to the Turbulent Timeways event. This mount will be the reward for the achievement Master of the Turbulent Timeways II. Gain Master of the Timeways for all 5 weeks of the event.
