2024 is the year of cozy games! I have so many games on my wish list that are finally coming out in the summer or fall of 2024. From cozy farming sims to witchy RPGs, there is something for everyone coming out this year. Check out this list of 15 of the best cozy games coming out in 2024:
Garden Life: A Cozy Simulator is exactly as advertised. Build your dream garden and greenhouse in this relaxing gardening game. Transform an abandoned plot of land into a bustling garden.
This game released on 2/22/24 and is available on both PC and Nintendo Switch, and other consoles. Nintendo Switch Version available here and PlayStation version available here.
Cozy Caravan is an adorable game where you embark on a journey alone in your caravan. Meet new characters, stop in towns to open your restaurant and trade with locals, and learn more about the adorable world you're exploring. Cozy Caravan is available in early access on Steam 5/16/2024.

Tiny Glade is a relaxing building game where you build cozy medieval buildings to your heart's content. There's no management, combat, or wrong answers. Simply build beautiful castles, cottages, inns, and decorate. A free demo is available now on Steam and the game is expected to release in the Fall of 2024.
Fields of Mistria is one of my most anticipated games of 2024! The game is being described as Stardew Valley meets Sailor Moon. Fields of Mistria is a beautiful farming game set in 90's graphics. The possibilities are endless and there are so many things to discover in this farming sim! Releasing 8/5/2024 on Steam.

If you're a Nintendo Switch gamer, it's probably always discouraging to see everything come out on PC months before it arrives on the Nintendo Store! Investing in a PC allowed me to explore hundreds of cozy games made by independent developers that I wouldn't have had access to with just a Switch.
If investing in a computer sounds daunting, consider buying a handheld PC like the Steam Deck or the more affordable Logitech G Cloud. (cheaper than a Nintendo Switch, and gives you access to the entire Steam store!)
The Garden Path is a slice-of-life sim about the joys of gardening. This beautiful, hand-painted cozy game takes you on a journey to meet unique characters, fish, grow crops, explore the forest, and trade with villagers. Available 7/30/2024 on Steam.
REKA is a dark, atmospheric game based around the folklore of Baba Jaga. Decorate your witch's hut that travels wherever you go. Learn spells, craft potions, and explore a dark and mysterious world. Forage for ingredients in a perpetual autumn wood, solve quests, and discover more about who you are. Available in early access on Steam in August 2024. In my opinion, this is one of the best cozy games coming out this year!
Alone in the Dark is...a horror game. But that counts as a cozy game if you're a horror lover like me! Alone in the Dark is a remake of the cult classic 90's game. Explore a decrepit gothic mansion in southern Louisiana, switching between two characters who see everything from their own unique perspective.

Chef RPG is a cozy cooking game set in a pixelated world. Imagine if you played Stardew Valley, but from Gus's perspective! Hunt, harvest, and shop for ingredients, and help revive the town of Le Sequioa as a beautiful tourist destination. Available in early access on 9/12/2024 on Steam.
